Lenovo is not a name when you think of gaming laptops but the company has just launched the Ideapad Y700 which is a sub Rs 1-lakh notebook capable of running the latest games. Lenovo has priced it at Rs 99,990 which also includes includes a Lenovo Y Gaming Backpack.

If you throw in an extra Rs 2,499, Lenovo will offer accessories worth Rs 12,999 including a Lenovo Y Gaming surround sound headset which comes with 7.1 virtual surround sound and is also VoIP-ready with built-in controls, a Lenovo Y Gaming precision mouse with five levels of adjustable weight and a Lenovo Y Gaming mechanical switch keyboard offering up to six customisable keys for macro recording.

The laptop features a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display and is powered by an Intel Core i7-6700 HQ (2.6GHz up to 3.5GHz, 6M cache) processor. There is 16GB of RAM and a 4GB Nvidia GTX 960M GPU to take care of the graphics. The storage options include a 1T HDD with a 128GB SSD. The laptop also features Dolby audio JBL speakers, Windows 10 OS and an ‘optimised thermal cooling technology.’

The company is also offering 3 years of additional warranty worth Rs. 4,499 along with up to 3 years of accidental damage protection cover for students. The laptop can be purchased from Lenovo’s online store.
