Distracting ‘digital paint’ is back in London for Bills vs. Jaguars – SB Nation

The NFL playing in London isn’t especially strange, but some of the broadcast choices are. The Sunday morning contest between the Bills and Jaguars once again features the weird digital paint in the end zones to fill in outlines of the words “Bills” and “Jaguars.”

The decision to make the move is pretty simple. Wembley Stadium doesn’t want to erase huge colored letters from their field. We can all accept that. NFL fans would rather just see outlines of team names than this faux attempt at filling them in, which is super distracting.
